Do you accept Medical Insurance Coverage?

Yes, we accept many major insurance companies such as Sunlife, Manulife, Canada Life, Blue Cross and more. We do not offer direct billing to Green Shield but can provide RMT receipts.

Depending on the company and its policies, we can direct bill to your insurance and you will be responsible for any portion not covered by your insurer. Alternatively, we can provide a receipt for you to provide directly to your insurer.

Important questions to ask your insurer prior to your appointment: 

  • Do I need a doctor’s note?
  • Is there a deductible and how much?
  • Can my RMT direct bill my plan?
  • Is there a maximum payout per treatment?
  • Is there a cap on payout based on treatment duration? (ex. some only cover a 45 min appointment only and remainder cost is out of pocket)
  • Is my plan coverage the same for all my dependents?

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds on packages. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, the remaining value of your package will be added as a credit on your account and can be used towards another service(s) of your choice. 

Requirements of Our Clients

- Payment is due at the time of your treatment and can be made via cash, debit, credit, or e-transfer.

- Clients must complete a Health History and update details when necessary.

- Parent(s) and/or guardian(s) must be present in the treatment room for treatments on minors ages 12 and younger. A Health & Consent Form for minors under 18 must be signed by the parent(s) and/or guardian(s) prior to the treatment .

- Clients must be clean (showered same day as session).

- It is best to avoid eating heavy meals less than two hours prior to your treatment.

- During outcall appointments, if a client is not available to start within 15 minutes of the appointed time, they will charged for the full cost of the appointment.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Our staff has the right to be treated with dignity and respect at all times.

Violence, physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, inappropriate behaviour, or mistreatment of our staff in any form is UNACCEPTABLE. Clients must not be under the influence alcohol or drugs.

If you are in violation of this policy, you will be required to pay the full cost of your service, leave immediately, and will no longer be allowed to return to the premises.

Cancelation Policy

Your therapist’s time is valuable; Please provide 24 HOURS notice prior to your appointment for cancelations to avoid a late cancellation fee.

Less than 24 hours notice for cancelations will result in a fee of half of the treatment cost or a charge as seen fit by the therapist based on the circumstances. Emergency cancellations are at the discretion of the therapist

NO SHOWS with no prior communication will be charged for the full treatment cost.

Clients who arrive late will be accommodated based on the time available and charged the full cost of the original appointment time. 

What to Expect from Your RMT

- Clients will always be treated with respect and dignity with personal and professional boundaries respected at all times.

- Privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times.

- Clients are draped with a sheet or towel at all times during the massage. Only the part of the body being worked on will be undraped at any time.

- Clients are required to give written consent prior to assessment and treatment of "sensitive areas" as needed and appropriate for their treatment plan. 

- Treatments are customized to the client’s needs. If clients feel uncomfortable for any reason, treatments may be modified or terminated at any time. Charged fees are subject to the condition of treatment termination.

- Our RMTs perform services for which they are (physically and emotionally) qualified and able to do, and will refer clients to the appropriate specialist(s) when the recommended treatment is not within the scope of their qualifications. 

- If our RMT needs to cancel an appointment, they will provide at least 12 hours notice when possible.
